FC
The zinc nickels are occupied Netherlands. I found out the hard way that vinegar breaks down zinc! The dimes are smaller than a penny. Images are flipped on the long end of the coins, d sad o some look upside down.

AzRednek
I have a 1600’s coin a coin dealer speculated its Dutch but is equivalent to the Spanish Bit the Dutch used to trade with Spain. It’s so worn he couldn’t say for sure but offered my brother and I two bucks for it, a dollar each. Another coin merchant wasn’t interested in it. Not sure I still have it, I gave most my old coins to my grandkids. I’ll see if I.can find it and post a photo.

The coin dealer said something about coins minted in that era often being used for trade. Like a Dutch ship sailing into a Spanish port and buying supplies. Other than being unique because of its age it’s not worth much.
