I don't really like the grips they seem to slick for my taste. Does anybody know if Pachmayr makes a set of grips for the full size Llama? Regular 1911's are to small between the holes. 724wd Posted November 23, 2005 Report Share Posted November 23, 2005 you know, my uncle has some llamas at one point, too. and he shot them, too! george and snowball ended up as hamburger from what i understand, mixed with beef to kill off some of the llama flavor... true story! not too sure on your pistol grips, but how much are standard 45 holes off? AzRednek Posted November 23, 2005 Report Share Posted November 23, 2005 I recall a freind locating some rubber grips from one of Pachmeyer's competitors apx 20 years ago. I believe he ordered them out of Gandor Mountain or Cabela's catalog. I assume his being the 38 Super was the same frame size as the 45. You might also try watching Ebay. If the only problem with the grips is the location of the holes, fill them in and refrill new holes than try the slide-on grips. I have them on my P-1 and the Helwan and they work well.
