I bought 3 this morning for my projects, .257AI finish / .280AI rougher / 30-06 rougher. Dr.Hess Posted April 16, 2021 Report Share Posted April 16, 2021 The problem with gunsmithing custom rifles today is that for 3-400 bucks, you can buy a sub-MOA rifle at Wally World, with a scope on it. I guess that just leaves rich people who don't care to use gunsmithing services, and 4K is "bragging rights" at the deer camp, if they actually are at the deer camp and not the whore house. Ya know, "they say" (never having been there) that in Africa, true dangerous game rifles are double barrels. That way you get 2 shots. Bolt actions are considered single shots, because you get one shot and then you're dead before you have a chance to work the bolt. Perhaps that will solve the feeding issue and keep the economy moving as you'll need to set the barrel back, have a reamer made, a Go gauge, load development and so on... gotta spread that money around Hijack away - it's all fun to me.
