Hopefully it was just a bad batch and not all their rifle ammo. About 12 years ago bought three boxes of Remington 35 Whalen. I got cracked necks on more than 50%. I tore off the portion of the boxes showing lot numbers, several pieces of brass and sent it to Remington with a letter complaining that I bought three boxes so I would have brass for reloading. Remington sent me 100 pieces of brass and one box of ammo. Their apology letter claimed they outsourced the batch I bought but assured me the cracked necks was not due to over pressure and future 35 Whelen will be made in their plant.
