$100 Nazi grandfather clock

I got a really interesting grandfather clock at auction, all told, about $100. After carefully looking it over, and reading about the initials “DRGM” on the Westminster chime, it’s a Nazi Germany clock. The Reich (Hitler) was in power 1933-1945. Phillips screws were 1930s onward. Germany was prosperous from about 1934-1941. War production was priority after WW2 started in 1939. The glass is wavy. It runs, but I don’t know how well it keeps time yet.

Yeah, time flies.

My grandmother had a similar clock.  I'm sure it was Dutch, not German.  They would likely not have anything German in the house.  Something about almost being exterminated by Germans sort of left a bad taste in their mouths.  I think they did have a tank main gun shell that might have been German.  Or maybe English.  They used it for an umbrella stand.  My grandfather found it in the street out front of their house and brought it with them to Canada.  Both items are long gone, but I did manage to get her sewing machine.
