I cut the handle off just past the receiver, flipped it over, straightened it out some, then welded it back on. Horsefly Posted December 1, 2021 Report Share Posted December 1, 2021 I have3 bolts I cut off and replaced and am going to cut ball off one and weld the shank to another to lengthen it a little then reshape to get it lower and swept back some. Beautiful rifle Dr. Hess. Maybe someday I’ll be there. I’m gonna send pic. of a bolt I just replace for my brother. I copied the length and sweep from his Husqvarna commercial sporter.
