Matte nickel plated.....

oh where oh where can I get an rifle natte nickel plated?? I really don't want an shining metal look, just an matte look, like sand or bead blasted.

Look in the phone book for Industrial Plating operations. You will need to have the weapon completely in pieces, they will not do anything but etch and plate the basket o'parts. I have 2 rifles done in high phosphate industrial nickel plate. You are looking at about $100 for a batch charge, that will do 2 rifles or 4 pistols, etc. Most don't care what the parts are for. I have a SS barrel that I want to put on an 03 Turk.

I was thinking of aluminum paint, I hadn't thought

of Nickel till you brought this up.

 

I just did a search, there were several hits, the above was just one of them.
