swamprat
Found a chart for Llama manufacture dates. My Llama was made in 1950. I knew it was back when they made good guns. However I didn't think it was that far back. I am so glad my hunch was right as to it being a older gun and it being one of quality. Not all my hunches are as good. swamprat
You don't like Llama anymore? 9140[/snapback] The newer Llama's don't have the quality of the older ones. Just like Winchester, everyone wants a pre 64 Winchester. The bunch of parts I bought to replace the lost parts on my project gun included some that were made of plastic and the machineing of others lacked finish. Just another example of a good product going bad when the bean counters get put in charge. They start by cutting corners. Then can't figure out why no one is buying their product, so they cut more corners. Then the company goes under, but it sure wasn't the bean counters fault! I like Spanish guns but I want quality not quanity. Swamprat
