If Uncle Joe has his way US made or brass 223 could become scarce and pricey. I'm in good shape with steel 762X39, I still have plenty on SKS stripper clips. I'm a bit hesitant on the steel 223 as there has been net chatter claiming it's hard on AR extractors. A few weeks ago PMC brass 223 was about 50 cents per round or $9.99 for a box of 20. The same ammo has creeped up to about $11.50 per box. Palmetto sold out quick at 9.99 or they pulled their ad and will reintroduce it later for a higher price. There's no more $9.99 metal AR mags. I imagine Uncle Joe's antics has something to do with it. I haven't checked but the lung tearing out 9MM BS has probably been effective in creating hoarding and price increases.
