FC
All drip irrigation. Corn and squash aren’t doing that well, but beans, tomatoes, etc. are doing fine.
Dr.Hess
Your stuff looks great. I've got one well growing Hops plant with no flowers, 3 that are between 1" and 6" long, some peaches and some apples. I suck at farming. And we don't shoot the deer, so they just roam through and eat whatever they can get of anything I stick in the ground.
Horsefly
Beautiful !!! You put lots of care in your garden. My Grandma told me once when they passed a strangers house they judged the man by his garden and wood pile. Nice clean orderly garden and split stacked firewood was a sign of a man with pride in his work. I need a privacy fence around my place. Do you have Purple Martins ? FC
I like that observation. I tried to get martins, but no luck. I read dragonflies eat mosquitoes, and I have some of them and damselflies. There goes your fruit Dr. Hess!
swamp_thing
Garden looks very good to me. You have a love to grow and it shows. I am always glad to see folks that take the time and put forth the hard efforts required to grow their own veggies and fruits. The fresh produce is far better than store bought food. Dr.Hess
Yeah, I see the bastards just hit my apple tree. Cleaned out all the leaves on low branches. We feed the hummingbirds. They go through a pint a day sometimes. They eat a lot of mosquitoes.
Horsefly
Dragon flies were known as snake doctors in rural Texas. Haven’t heard them called that n 30 years.
FC
Hummingbirds eat mosquitoes? I wonder about the, “Snake doctor” name?
Dr.Hess
Yeah, mosquitoes are their primary protein source, from what I've read on teh intr4w3bz. I think that's why they show up with the mosquitoes and leave when they are gone for the year.

Horsefly
They’re a type of cantaloupe. They don’t ship well, so rarely sold anywhere other than produce stands. Great for Texas. Require very little water.
