I like Paul quite a bit, except for his isolationist leanings.

I tend to be both a national and an isolationist as well.

When I was  say 40 years younger I plain loved war. I think I would have been on the first plane out to the Ukraine  just to zap Ivan.

Now, as John Wayne said I am too old for war.   I am very protective of the kids. The students may have made my hair fall out at times but they are mine all I guess 8 or 900 of the monsters. Now I only call for war if the USA is attacked..Dont know what I could do except hold a bunked for a time..but I would try. Still no declaration? No war

Unfortunately, we have been attacked, from the inside.  They are hollowing us out.  Our country is done.  When the flag is at half mast because the former prime minister of Japan died, that's it, it means nothing.  Remember that President Washington refused to fly the flag at half mast after the death of Benjamin Franklin, because it was beneath the honor of the United States to do so.
