usmc0332
Does this round require grinding, or does it fit. This sounds like an good round. It covers most all of the ground that .35 Whelen and .338/06, plus it is a classic Mauser chambering.
sonic1
i looked it up and it shows OL of 3.29" with a 30/06 listed as 3.34" so i"d say its a go but some one else may have more insight on this We can have no '50-50' allegiance in this country. z1r
Theoretically you don't have to lengthen the mag. I would anyway. You may need some slight tweaking of the feedrails and then again you may not. No more than if you were barelling in .30-06. In all it is a very easy conversion and a fantastic round. usmc0332
Thanks fellas. Z, what do you build now that you have one in every caliber? I'm just teasing. You have a bunch of big bores, which one is your favorite?
