FC
photo I bought this type of 6 inch barreled, .22 LR Beretta U22 Neos. It is aluminum in color. I like the feel and the trigger. I haven't shot it yet. I'm debating on something other than iron sights. Holosights better than red dot? I haven't used either. Which red dot? This daughters will like this gun. usmc0332
I have heard nothing but good reports about these guns. A cheap red-dot can be had at wally world for about $30. I hope you all love it.
FC
It shot well. It sometimes jammed with lead bullets, but I expected that.
swamprat
Why would you expect a firearm to jam? It should feed, fire, and eject every round you feed it. I think you bought the hype not the product. Just because it has a name brand does not mean it's a good weapon. If your hyper-named weapon is expected to fail, I think you would to. A jam in a weapon is not allowed. Want to risk your life on a might feed, might eject, might fire, weapon? Swamprat
FC
Lead bullets don't feed too well in semi-autos. I had a Luger .22 that didn't feed them either. I had 3 jams in 250 rounds, I think. On the Luger I had a lot of jams. Jacketed bullets work fine.
swamprat
Tony, The American Gunsmithing Association puts a monthly magazine for its members called American Gunsmith. If you can find a copy of the Oct. 2005 issue it has a article about doing trigger work on the U22 Neos. Swamprat
FC
I wish I could find a copy of it. Maybe I can find something online. I like the trigger pull, but if it can be made better, well, I'm game!
