MarkTX
I have a Turk I was thinking about and was wondering if the short cartridge would cause any feeding problems. I cycled a 22-250 cartrdge through it and it works if it's in the back of the mag. Is it doable or a bad idea? the reason being I saw a barrel on E-bay threaded for a turk. I f not I may save some money and go with 6mm but I'll probably have to get a blank and have a smith fit it.

manureman
Mark ,it's been a spell since I've used one of the kit's mentioned so I'm having trouble remembering all the details but it seems that the kit's follower and spring are put together in such a way as to make you use the block at the back of the mag ,if I remember right, but I like to use the block in the front of the mag and use it as part of the ramp .I was having trouble getting a 22-250 to feed and someone suggested moving the block to the front and ramping it and sure enough it worked but seems like there was more to it than that but I just can't remember what it was now ,sorry.. Jim .
