fritz Posted June 25, 2006 Report Share Posted June 25, 2006 Those of you on the southern coast should be on the lookout for "high" birds, pelicans to be exact. Seems the big-billed birds are getting high on algae. They are staggering around and are sorta disorientated. I always suspected there was something in the water in California, but ALGAE??? It all seems to make sense now. And I thought it was in the air, didn't think about the water. Oh well, I guess now there will be thousands of kids hitting the beach, but with a different pursuit.
