Guest Guest_drjerry1st_*
Would like to make the acquantance of members somewhat close to Corinth, Ms. I've got an old turk that I need to do something with and I have a younger friend that wants to get in on the act...so I need some fairly close sources of maybe an extra mauser for him to start with and some expertise. Looks like you guys are building some very practical and beautiful guns and I would at least try one. Thanks in advance for any responders, J
fritz
Guest_drjerry1st_*. Welcome. A Turk Mauser is a good one to start with when going about sporterizing for the first time. So many of the other mausers have become more expensive (rarer) that it is fast becoming a limited selection for a starter project. Hell, if not for cheap military rifles to start with, I challenge folks here to say that they would have done so anyway. Maybe a few, but not the beginners. Not when you can buy a Mossberg from Academy for less than 300 clams. I'm not from Mississippi, but welcome to the sporterizing forum. fritz
mauserbull
I live in Atlanta but go to Pontotoc often. I know some good gun people there.
