tinkerfive Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 Sonic The Rugers are a cylinder over the chamber. I have totally removed the threaded section and cut large ring threads. It ends up looking more like a Remingnton barrel with the taper starting almost immediately and you do loose the length of the threaded section that gets cut off. If you are willing to loose the length of the original threads and ream it that much deeper, if I can thread it for a large ring you certainly can thread it for a small ring.
