Guest Uncle Ho Posted August 9, 2005 Report Share Posted August 9, 2005 Tony, are you at Bliss? if so a friend of mine is in bound, he is going back to the shifting sands of Iraq to train police officers, we spent the morning talking and filling out wills and insurance papers. He is currently employed as a F.T.O. with the local Dept. He was in my "classroom" on Glocks and H&K MP5s and is a vet from the first Gulf War, he goes to Fredricksburg Va. and then to Ft.Bliss for desert orientation and language, he is getting $150,000 for one year, 90 days in-ten days out for 3 rotations and then 56 days in and then home, the local P.D. is holding his job even though he is not with the U.S.Military....the expierience he gains working in Iraq should make him a better training officer stateside...especially in anti-terrorism.
