Jimro
Instead of starting Ranger school on the 6th I will hopefully be fully functional and healthy for the class starting on May 26th. I pulled an intercostal muscle on my right side, and cannot do pushups or chinups without blinding pain. I am confident that I will be all healed up in time. After all the physical events in the first four days of Ranger school you really don't need too much upper body strength, but those first four days are really important. Thank you for your prayers. Pre-Ranger is run by Ranger Instructors certified by 4th Ranger Training Brigade, and the events and periods of instruction cover everything in Ranger Assessment Phase and Darby Phase (which make up Benning phase). I don't want to get overconfident, but I am much more confident now than before. Pray I heal quickly. I need to knock out Ranger school before I can finish up the rest of my "professional development" and take charge of a platoon.
