donmarkey
Now that eBay sucks even more than they used to, what auction type place to you turn to find parts and accessories? I'm going to start selling this fall or winter, seeing I still have a small stockpile of parts and have more on the way. I know the classifieds in forums like this are good for looking, but this is for profit. I was thinking of using gunbroker. -Don
911rat
Gun Broker seems to have more parts and get more traffic. I've noticed a lot of my former favorite sellers are on both, but I imagine that they're testing both AA and GB to see which one sells the best. There aren't any listing fees so the starting prices seem higher than they were on eBay. Personally, I find Gun Broker's site easier to use. I bought one of the last bolts for sale off ebay and my purchase price was lower than the starting price of the exact same vendor selling the exact same bolts on Gun Broker. Good for sellers I suppose. Still, not as easy to find specific parts as it was on ebay. Good luck.
donmarkey
I think the same thing about gb prices. As a seller it's nice because there are no listing fees and you can also set your auctions up to automatically relist if they don't sell of if you have multible items. It seem to be less hassle than ebay, but the traffic is far less. I seldom use auction arm for the reason that I never seem to find anything worth bidding on and the prices seem to be higher than gb. But that might be good from a seller point of view. -Don
AzRednek
I was told by a FFL/pawnbroker Auction Arms is more dealer friendly but he didn't give the details.
ken98k
Yesterday I got this email from a guy that used to sell on ebay.... Hello- I want to thank you for your business on eBay over the past seven years. As most of you have heard, we have been kicked off of eBay as of mid August. I don’t know about you but I still have hundreds of thousands of gun parts that I am not willing to store for the rest of my life. So, I have found a new auction site to sell on. I have recently been in close cooperation with a corporation, MJC Ventures, Inc. who have created a web site for gun guys like us, www.2ndAmendmentAuctions.com. Having been and continuing to be one of their advisors I can honestly say that they are completely focused on their users, not the bottom line. I ask that you all take a minute to check out the site and I hope that you will be impressed enough to sigh up as a user so that we can continue to do business together. Hope all is well, See you on www.2ndAmendmentAuctions.com, Al Guthridge (nmgunpartsguy)
