Sks Problem

This is just a suggestion but before you replace the spring take a look at the lip on the magazine box and see if it’s bent. The magazine box lip has a very slight upward bed in it so that the latch can hold it in place. The latch also has a very slight angle on its contact surface.

If the contact surfaces are ok then I would replace the spring.

Does anyone have any take-off parts from a Chinese SKS? I need basically all the stuff people take off when they put US made parts on, like gas tube, piston, etc. The parts places want a forture for this stuff and I can't see spending that kind of money on it.

careful with those wolf springs i ordered a set and the hammer spring sucks. every other round failed to fire and i had to strip the trigger group at the range and put the old factory spring back in. i left the sear block spring in to keep a lighter trigger pull. but i advise anyone against using their hammer spring.
