AzRednek
I hijacked this from handloaders.com, a deer hunter nailed a deer with his Nagant. Lots of pictures. http://forums.handloads.com/forum_posts.as...=16166&PN=

Horsefly
That feller will probably be a hard-core deer hunter from now on,if he wasn't already. That's way cool that he welded up his own ladder stand and killed a deer from it with a 90 yr.old rifle.I'd rather shoot at a deer 75 yrds broadside, than to shoot 10 yrds. almost strait down.He did good and I'm happy for him.Jerry

Clark
I was hunting with a highly modified pre 64 M70 and our host was hunting with a Weatherby. He has a log cabin in an area with lots of deer, antelope, elk, sage grouse, and ducks. We shot em all or shot at em, and wooped it up at his house. At the end of the 7 week season, with two days left in the season, we all left, and the host went out by himself and shot one more deer, but with his old 91/30. He first bought a 91/30 40 years ago in Sears for $7. He shot jack rabbits with it as a child. This year he shot a mule doe in the head at 200 yards, way out in the sage brush by himself.
