I doubt this is true, but we can hope, and besides, I liked it:

We had our home built up here in the mountains five years ago. I'm still picking up litter.

 

One time I asked a foremen to tell his people to put their trash IN the trashcan, not next to it. They all looked at me like I insulted their heritage.

 

I dread when the next house goes in. :(

Next time you build a house, stipulate in the contract you sign with the builder that the area must be free of garbage or else you'll fine him. Provide an economic incentive for him to get his crew to wipe their own butts...
