Horsefly Posted August 27, 2005 Report Share Posted August 27, 2005 I need to order a couple bolt handles for my first weld on job,and since we don't have our old archives,I gotta ask again,which style and or brand do ya'll recommend.I have several catalogs,but a picture aint worth a 1,000 words this time. fritz,wasn't it Marvel rod you use ,and would 1/8th be too big? fritz Posted August 27, 2005 Report Share Posted August 27, 2005 Marvelweld was the rod, don't know if you can still get it. It came in 3/32" or less. Get a 5/64" if you can, that is what the instructions used to say that came with the Brownell's knob. That Lenard Brownell knob used to be good (some had trouble with voids), now I like the Dakota for the Mauser.
