I shoot all of my guns, regardless of historical value, I dont sport them though, I would only sport something like an M48, or maybe a RC K98(depending on what ordnance code it is). I wouldnt sport an all matching K98k(I would still shoot it though) or a WWII jap rifle or any of the US rifles.

I like my rifles, I even give them names, a practice I picked up reading Viking history as a boy, but I agree with FC on this. Folks who fall down and venerate mil sups almost as icons have, I think, gone a bit over the top.

I wouldn't sport an Arisaka either. Darn things are too ugly! ;) Too clunky too.

 

I do admire the takedown model they made. That would be fun to sport if not for their relative scarcity.

Riceone has one that I believe was sported. Pretty cool if only for the takedown factor.
