tinkerfive
Anyone know for sure? Same as std length Mauser? Same screw spacing, bottom metal, std length bolt???? There in one on GB that I am considering. It is actually a receiver only and I wanted to know if there was anything special about it. The bolt stop & ejector assy looked different but I don't know if that means it needs a special bolt. I'm sure someone here knows. Thanks in advance!! Tinker I am no expert, but I think the screw spacing and bottom metal are interchamgable with a std. M98. The bolt, however, is different, the lugs extend farther forward, more like a M96. z1r
Not only will the std 98 bolt will not fit, if it did, it still wouldn't work. I have one of these actions that I am going to modify.
tinkerfive
Thanks ! I guess that answers it for me. I won't be bidding if a std. bolt won't work. I don't plan on buying something in the hope that the rest of the parts I'd need will turn up in the future. Tinker
donmarkey
I can't tell from Mike's pic but I think the bolt lug on those are dovetailed also. -Don

z1r
Are these a small ring? Yes, basically a std length 98 small ring with the bolt stop removed and the ejector moved.
