What Action Is This?

I came across a new action to me last Friday.

I didn't have a caliper but it looked to be small ring with large threads ( 98) and std length ( I think )

It had a hand guard lip that raised above the ring that ran from 10:00 to 2:00.

What is it?

There were no recognizable stamps and it was mixed in with Brno's, Styer's, FN's, Obendorf's

Oh yea and LaCourtina's.

Maybe a M98a? Marked "Kar 98" on left rcvr. wall? I have one made in Erfurt that was shortened for a .250 Sav., and I like it. But supposed to be limited to low pressure rounds because of the very thin ring.
