spec4 e4
What is the different in the BR primers and military primers that are made by CCI? Can you use the BR primers in AR-15??? Thanks Rob
Brenden
BR primers are "bench rest" primers. susposed to give a more uniform ignition and can be used as a subistute for most standard primers (cci BR4 can be used in place of a CCI small rifle primer) . Military primers, i have no knowledge of these, didn't know cci made them.almost anyother military round, the primers have a crimp, which if you want to use military cases you have to take the crimp out of the primer pocket for it to accept a standard primer. I know some military rounds have crimped primers and some don't. But i've never heard of CCI offering military primers. Are they special made for mil rounds to be crimped in?
