First pic is of a small 6 that I got trigger happy on. I called him in Monday evening and I just couldn't resist a 50 yard shot. It was the first with the .338-06. I've found that a 200 grain ballistic tip is way over-kill on deer. Shot him in the point of the front shoulder and everything from the chest to the back of the ribs was jello. He did manage to roll about 20 yards or so. The other pic is of a small 8 that I shot with my bow the second week of season. Hes not much ither but, what the heck, its a trophy with a bow. Tomorrow is a new day. I've passed up some nice bucks this week, but wow, did I see a good one this morning. I can see the .338-06 stomping him tomorrow. Brenden ok. the pics wont come up for some reason. I used the attachment icon at the bottom of the page but nothing shows? what the heck?
