rivitir
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/static/products.html I thought Grainger just sold industrial supplies, but darn, they sell everything from crib mattresses to homeowner stuff, to industrial supplies. They also sell combat helmets, tactical vests & clothing, magazine & shell pouches, etc. Here are a few things I found from a quick search: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/3THP2?Pid=search http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/3THN5?Pid=search http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/3THN4?Pid=search http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/3THG8?Pid=search http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/3THL4?Pid=search http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/items/3THL5?Pid=search
FC
We would be happy to place an order for you. Although a verifiable business is required to place your order on Grainger.com, you can place your order by dialing the toll free number listed below or by contacting your local Grainger branch. A credit card is required to place your order, for your security, we do not suggest sending your credit card information through email. If you need help finding your closest Grainger branch, the Grainger.com "Find A Branch" tool can be found at the web address listed below. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/branchSearchRender.shtml
99-100
What's really sad is that there are govt agencies buying this stuff from them that if the people knew what they were doing they would get it from the DOD channels w/o the mark-up
FC
I am not aware of any NCOICs ordering from Grainger. On CEEP purchases we have to get three bids. I do know there's the GSA catalog that is used.
99-100
Not too many IMPAC holders in the Army could get away with it (though the USMC did have someone buy "breast augmentation") mainly the alphabet soup of Govt agencies that CAN access DOD supply system if they took the time and actually knew something but it is "easier" to access and it's not "their" $$
Dr.Hess
Tractor Supply stores are now a Grainger's catalog outlet. That is, you can go to the service desk at Tractor Supply and look through the Grainger's catalog and order what you want there, and then pick it up in a few days. I buy Mobil SHC630 gear oil from Grainger's. It was used as a base for Lotus "magic oil" that kept the transaxle together at way over the rated horsepower. The spec sheet on it says it lasts 6x longer than conventional gear oils and is made for industrial machinery applications that you fill once for the life of the machine. I use it wherever I need a gear oil that doesn't have syncros (too slipery), like non-limited slip differentials, the dog box transmission on my Harley, etc.
