My brother bought a 1908 Brazilian from a pawn shop here in Keller for $120.00 that is almost in issue condition except for someone putting on a low scope safety that binds up and is very hard to work.All wood is in perfect shape,and not a speck of rust under the wood. Jerry

Wow! Been a long time since you could buy one of those for that. That would have been a good deal even for just an action.

What shape is the bore in? If it's a 7x57. I would be shooting it, but it would kill me to leave it original. I try to leave those to other folks who I can trust not to mess with it.

My brother will buy a few things like the correct bayonet and rig it out to be put in a closet with his others.He has several sportered Mausers,and is into collecting now.It's still 7X57.He'll shoot it.
