Sailormilan2 Posted January 28, 2011 Report Share Posted January 28, 2011 I am in the process of sporterizing at least one Yugo Mauser, and unfortunately nobody makes a hinged triggerguard for them. A hinged TG off of a Mauser 95/95 will work, but they are cut for 7mm length cartridges so the TG won't work with the inletting(some gaps are present). I recently sent a message to Pacific Tool & Gauge, who makes lots of bottom metal for Remington 700s and Winchester Model 70s, and ask them if they would be making some hinged triggerguards. I got an answer 2 days ago. They are planning on make some later this year or early next year. I hoppe this helps someone with any furture plans they have. 724wd Posted January 28, 2011 Report Share Posted January 28, 2011 i've got two of the 93 hinged guards. if you're going to have a stock run on your own piece of wood, maybe you can get a rough cut of the duplicators pattern and bondo the bottom metal in so you get a good match on your finished stock. that's what i did.
