odies dad Posted November 8, 2011 Report Share Posted November 8, 2011 Liam was in the stand with me. He must be my good luck charm. It was about a 250 yard shot with 3006. Double lung shot. Ran about 50 yards into the woods and died. Liam spotted it when we went looking. No blood until it dropped. Weighed in at 125# field dressed. Busted up 7 point rack. Nothing pretty, but the first buck I have shot in several years. Didn't get close enough for a shot with the 458. I still have a doe tag to fill.
