rdm1962
Can the guard or lock screw holes be welded shut on a trigger guard? I really don't like the looks of them. Has anyone done this or is it more work than it is worth? Ralph

If you're going to weld & reblue, make sure to use something like this: TIG rods otherwise the welds may not blue the same hue as the orginal metal. Clemson
It is frequently done, Ralph. It requires a counterbore bit to clean up the holes after welding. Clemson
ken98k
You'll need one of these - http://www.midwayusa.com/product/984570/ptg-mauser-trigger-guard-screw-counterbore-high-speed-steel They also have a carbide version.
