I work at the big UPS hub in mesquite, near dallas, we stopped sending trucks towards houston as of wednesday, and all the trucks from elswhere to anywhere south of Lufkin come to us now. We have as of today leased the Bigtown Mall parking lot for our overun of trailers, and do not expect the space to last long. We are expecting over 600 extra trailers to stockpile on friday. I also heard to expect 60+ mph winds in our area by tuesday. Yikes, this thing is a monster. Good luck to every one else in its path. Im 60 SE of dallas on cedar creek lake. Ive canceled my day at the range this weekend already.

Im getting the stuff together for fiinishing my 25-06, the action will be back to me next week from Skaggs Gunsmithing, and I'm getting a stock from richards microfit, in the tiger wood laminate. My question is what finish to use on the wood, so as not to darken it much if any, I would like it to be as transparent as possble without actually stainging the wood. I used a clear satin on another laminate, in camo, and it darkened it quite a bit. heres a pic of the wood Im dealing with and what Id like it to end up like, Thank You

dont think you said it, Tangle mentioned useless weld,but he has alot more expreience with welding than I do, Im not trying to argue, just was stating Ive had no problems, and its sturdy. And its all I ve got. Im sure later on Ill try out a TIG and never go back
