AzRednek
Glad we're back!! As you might suspect, this is not a Photoshop project but a real left handed Mauser. Sorry about the low quality photography, best I could do with my cell phone. Well it appears Photobucket has their heads in their asses again. I'll post the photos later. A member of my gun collector's club brought the rifle in for the show'n'tell portion of our monthly meeting. Rifle is made from a commercial FN right handed action. Other than the 257 Roberts caliber stamping on the barrel absolutely nothing else stamped to indicate it's origin. Claimed he bought it about 25 years ago at a gun show for his left handed sister and she will not sell it for any price.
AzRednek
A couple of mature club members speculated from the Baush and Lamb scope mounts it is likely a late 40's to early 50's project.
donmarkey
I've seen it before. Can't remember where but I think it was a conversion done for the trade. Not a one off. Don
