IIRC, I can't take my Armalite south of the border (into the US is south for me ) because its 14" barrel is too short for civilians to own according to your government. Even though I understand the original reason behind that particular law it still doesn't make a dang bit of sense. After all criminals don't pay a bit of attention to the law anyway...
