Ambrosia maple

That's a beautiful piece.  Sorry, but I am clueless on what to do with wood, but that's beautiful.  I have one maple tree that I know of.  It's about 2' in diameter.  I would GUESS it is probably pushing a hundred years old.

I have several blanks and scraps of this. A friend of mine over on mausercentral recommended this product called aquafortis. It's pretty caustic (NH²O³) but really turns color when heated
