z1r Posted February 3, 2006 Report Share Posted February 3, 2006 I don't personally care for them. I think its mostly a matter of personal preference. Whatever floats your boat. Personally I think they are better suited to target style guns than to hunting rifles. The so called dual grip styles seek to provide the quick shouldering of the traditional style stock with that of the thumbhole. Sort of a best of both worlds appraoch.
