Bolt Work

I am getting psyched about building a 223 mauser. There is a thread on the sporterizing forum with some pictures in case you have not seen it.

Where can I get a 98 bolt that has been converted to a 223 face or who can do this to one of mine? I don't have the best welding skills and don't want to mess up a bolt trying to do this myself.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If all else fails, why not get some flat stock and make up a "washer" that you could silver solder to the bolt face? All you need to do is fill in the bolt face enough for it function with the smaller casehead like it does with the standard casehead. Filling this in with metal and solder might be tedious, but it could work. Then you're going to need to do the extractor, but the Gun Runner's blank from Brownell's will take care of that.
