AzRednek
J&G is sold out or they decided to sit on them awaiting a price increase. Either way there aren't any listed on their website.
AzRednek
Bert please let us know whom has the best price. I can't say it enough, any of you under 40 should scarf up as many of these Mausers as you can afford and have room to store.
Clemson
I got a brochure yesterday from Aim Surplus advertising 24/47's for $119+. Clemson
donmarkey
Century runs sale on cracked stock 24/47's about every other month at 3 for $225 I believe. The actions I got were all nice and the stocks were shootable, but I usually toss them anyway. -Don
bert01
UPS just came by with big box from century:D cant tell much through the cosmo but heres the breakdown; no pitting at all on any guns.all have complete crest. 3 all matching numbers. 1 without matching numbers, bent bolt is only non matching piece. 2 even have front sight hoods. 2 with cracked upper hand guards. 1 with small crack on left side of receiver. 1 with no cracks, and new upper hand guard. 1 of the ones with a cracked upper hand guard looks like the wood is deteriorating or rotting. im very happy. i have 1 or 2 that will make good full military pieces. the others will be SPORTERIZED MUUUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA for $89 i think ill get a couple more
tinkerfive
. 1 with small crack on left side of receiver. Wohooo Boy! That's rare. Are these " U fix-um's"?
bert01
the crack is in the stock, really just a large splinter of wood about 2 inches long. should have been more specific i guess. these were not the you fix-em these were the $89 good with cracked stock. 724wd
if these are 24/47's, take another look at that crest. you'll probably notice that it's been scrubbed and restamped. that's been my experience, anyway...
ken98k
The last 2 u-fix-em yugo's I got were missing the bolts.
donmarkey
The last 2 u-fix-em yugo's I got were missing the bolts. That's why I won't buy one. Yugo bolts are outrageously priced. Puts it more expensive than a complete rifle. -Don
AzRednek
J&G has Yugo 24/47's again. I really don't think they were out becuase they are now getting 119.95. I think they likely pulled them from the website and bought them back at a higher price. Something J&G and others have been doing for years. These are being advertised as arsenal refinished with matching bolts. My last Yugo from J&G was not refinished, had a matching bolt but was priced in the 80 or 90's if I remember right. I need a few more, only have one and it's lonely!!
